What could be a few reasons why Contact 7 isn't working?

So this is weird and its really been bothering me.

When I first installed my site, I had someone install the form on fiver, and it worked great. It was a regular contact 7 form.

I tested it and it sent emails right to my inbox like its suppose to.

Then over the months I made edits, deleted a few plugins, changed the appearance of the form, w/out touching anything that I thought was important.

About a month later, I notice we're getting a lot of calls, but no emails. I test the form, and don't get any message. I test it again, wait a couple of days, and no message.

So I go on fiver to have it fixed.

Guy says he fixed the form. I test it, and don't get an email. I test it again, wait a day, and no email.

I ask him if he tested it with his email, and he said yes that the email did come to his address. So I try 2 other email addresses (both belong to my brother) and he gets no messages.

I've used this guy before, and I mostly trust him. But the fact remains that I am not getting emails, nor is my brother when I put his address into contact 7.

So something is definitely not working how it should.
Does anyone know why this might be happening? Especially considering the fact that the form use to work perfectly fine, and all the forms on my other sites work... but this one doesn't. It is SUPER confusing.

I can't figure out what is causing it, and really need my form working cause I'm getting calls, and know I'm probably missing emails.

Thanks - Red

EDIT:

NEVERMIND! I JUST REALIZED THAT ALL MY MESSAGES ARE GOING TO MY SPAM AND HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR THE LAST 2 MONTHS. I ALSO FOUND 7 OLD EMAILS FROM CLIENTS LOOKING FOR WORK. WHICH CAUSED ME TO CURSE OUTLOUD LIKE I AM TYPING IN RED RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I'M VERY ANGRY I MISSED THEM.

You live and you learn I guess.

    Ouch!

Yeah, it's a good idea to take a quick peek in the spam folder every few days to make sure there's nothing legit in there.

If a lot of legit emails are winding up there, you might want to try a less aggressive spam filter setting (if you use cPanel, go to Mail --> Spam Assassin).
