First I want to say two simple words then ask your opinion. Letsplanmywedding.com it's a wedding website, a site where you can find everything you need to plan the wedding. Not just a simple directory, but more, where vendors can add their own page, and be founded by brides, always useful tools, amazing wedding gallery, fresh wedding news, and for sure the best wedding suppliers. So you people what think about this website? Kindly suggest me everything to change. This is the website - Wedding Planning - Wedding Dresses - Wedding Ideas

I'd move the news down below the forum posts...

And it just seems really busy to me...

You mean on menu, or the last of news and posts?

  • Danielph,

You have a good start here.

I have some suggestions. The first thing that caught my eye was the adsense you have running on the page. The ad was for a PPC evaluation. I don’t see how this is relevant to visitors to this site. I would think that ads for complementary services like cake making or catering would be more effective for a wedding planning website. You might want to look into how you have your account configured. Irrelevant ads not only create a poor user experience but they won’t bring in any money for you.

I also agree with Synth3t1c. There is a lot going on with the home page. What is it that you want visitors to do when they reach the home page of the site? If you can answer that, do away with everything that does not help them accomplish that goal (except for common elements of course). If people are too distracted by other elements on the page, they won’t know what to do.

    Check out this book,

It has a ton of great tips for website usability and I think you could make something very effective after reading it (it’s a short read).

    Hope that helps,

Thank you for the great review, The thing you have told me about adsense was right, i receive more 200 impression a day with only 1-2 clicks, so i was asking why i receive a lot of random ads, i don't have good knowledge with adsense, so it's possible to insert only relevant ads? What i must to do? Becouse on other of my websites i didn't change nothing and it show only relevant one and i have more profit. Thanks a lot will be nice if you can help me with this.

Yes i know that are too much stuff, but what i can delete from them? Becouse i think all are important, and if the homepage don't have enough text it look poor for google i think.

You have pointed out that all the things are important and you won't have to delete them, just arrange them in a way that it doesn't seem to clutter. And, yes, your adsense is a bit distracting.
