My first shot at a mobile website - feedback appreciated (not a WP site).

Okay, so this is a personal/hobby site not a full-blown IM site, meaning I don't expect to make a six figure income, but would like to make enough to pay for the hosting and a few large pizzas. I plan to integrate CB products in the sidebar and AdSense in the main content articles (eventually). I have a few issues with the header on the home page being separated from the main content so I need to figure out what I did. I'm having trouble adding a contact form as well.

There isn't much content yet. The links in the navbar work but the privacy page hasn't been updated yet and shows the old layout. Only the video link in the bottom left column of the homepage works right now. Before I spend any more time on the site I was hoping you guys could tell me if I'm heading in the right direction (hopefully someone will view it on a mobile device):

1. overall load times?
2. is the sidebar too narrow?
3. colors/layout ok?
4. if you're using a mobile device, does the site and especially the vid scale to your device?
5. any other comments greatly appreciated

ps -I just checked the link and noticed I lost my favicon somewhere along the way. Will have to fix that.

    1. Load it pretty good, didn't have to wait long.
    2. I think the sidebar is too narrow, try making about 25 or 30%.
    3. Too many colors. try to use some color. Like the blue color combined with white, or other so it looks clean. for the background is not that great in my opinion.
    4. Would be great if its menus when viewed from either a tablet device or smartphone will be the select menu. So it doesn't extend down like this.
    5. Maybe you could look at other websites that its good design to make your website easy on the eyes
