Wordpress Photo Blog Suggestions?
Hi.
May I ask your suggestions for setting up a Wordpress photo blog, please?
I am currently using the Weaver II Pro theme and am going to use a plugin which curates from and maintains hosting photos on Foter.com.
And now I'm determining how to setup in Wordpress regarding Posts/Pages/Categories/Taxonomies and any other relevant aspects, such as use of any particular gallery plugin or photo blog theme if necessary, for example.
My interest is in setting this up correctly the first time to prevent any corrections and redundancy, while conserving server resources. So far, I'm thinking to setup a pre-determined number of photos per post (10 for example), and have the latest posts available on a 'Page with Posts'. And then link similar Categories.
Or, what do you suggest? I'd like to keep the photos as big as possible as an aesthetic feature. But perhaps I should enable a lightbox feature for this? Would any gallery plugin or other theme offer features I am unaware of? I'll ask this on the Wordpress forum as well.
