My spelling is lousy! I think proud 'authorised' is spelled wrong. I would like to see more color, horizontal/vertical boxes and change in font

authorised is the Australian spelling of authorized, I am from Australia and so is my customer base

when you say change in font, what do you mean? which font are you referring to?

Typography is my favorite thing. That is up to you. Work with different fonts for headers and item descriptions until you are happy
As for spelling...I learn something everyday

    hey, hey,

    Your estore is too heavy...

The loading speed of it has to be your priority #1

The next thing - change the background to a fixed image (again - make it as light as possible)... fixed image means >> when visitor scrolls down, the background stays in a fixed position (doesn't mean).

I would suggest to remove your Otter Box banner and use their brand on the background image >>

.. I really like that you are not afraid to make your logo BIG - looks good

Whatsoever - work on loading speed.

    Good luck,
    Helmuts

Ya it took a long time to load(about 40 seconds or so), but that could be because it is being hosted really far away, otherwise looks legit and professional to me.

Here's a few things you can fix off the top of my head,

    1) Load time (people would bounce if its not loaded in under 7 seconds)
    2) Remove the opacity dim when you hover on the products but keep the boxes
    3) No social media or bookmarking
    4) call to actions need to be more visible

You are on the right track but make those adjustments for a clear website without distraction.

    Cheers

Yeah load time is an issue with Magento on slow shared servers. If you are going to run Magento I recommend a VPS.

    Looks good...

I used to run an e-commerce site myself in this market, as well as offer repairs and it was very successful and profitable.

Once you've improved your load times it will be fine.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, any suggestions on how to improve my load speed?
I used Google PageSpeed tool and got an overall PageSpeed Score of 82 (out of 100) which I believe isn't too bad.

I saw a 'live chat' popup with a caption box that said "offline" - don't show it unless you're online and able to answer questions. Most chat programs will let you use a different image for offline, so you can just replace it with a blank image that matches the background of that area.

When you add to cart, take them to the view cart page - chances are it's the only product they came to buy, so don't don't leave them on the product page and make them hunt for the checkout link. Your view cart page is also a great place to show upsells related to what they have in the cart.

On the checkout page, why is the Facebook button so prominent? This slows down the process. Most people aren't storing full address information in Facebook, and if they do they aren't likely to go through the process of authorizing an app just so you can read it when they could type it in a fraction of the time. Since PayPal is the only payment method, auto-select it, don't make them click it. I'd also move the payment selection area below the address form so it flows naturally. They should see their subtotal (preshipping), then enter address, then shipping shows up beneath without having to scroll back up.

Also with regard to Facebook, I don't see any social icons or any reference to it other than the checkout page. Don't use the little 16x16 icons, since they take the user away from your site, but somewhere in the header put the Like and Follow buttons - users who are already signed in to FB/Twitter can click Like and Follow and it won't take them away from the site.

Other than those usability issues, the site has a good look to it.

Thank you so much for your feedback.

I have completely disabled live chat for now as I have no time to use it.

The reason why when you click on add to cart it takes you to the product page is because for most of the products, the customer needs to choose the color.

Paypal is not the only payment method as there is also Credit Card(not using paypal) and Bank Transfer.

I agree with your comment in regards to Facebook and I will make it more obvious for my customers, thank you again for the valuable feedback.

I think the site looks great. I'm in California using hi-speed cable (residential) and the site loaded up right away. What Tara said above was on the money. I would add a Facebook like us to your main page. Nice job and good luck!

Its not catchy, you need to design it well. Your products are being displayed down below the categories tab on the left.I have to scroll down.

It looks great, a little bit slow, maybe because of server location.

Nice and clean design, responsive. Only thing I would suggest is try and make credit cards logos a bit smaller, they jump out at you.

So far on the optimization front, you seem to have done a very good job.

Please check - Latest Performance Report for: http://www.ibyte.com.au/ | GTmetrix

You need to optimize your images (There are bulk methodologies to attain this) before uploading them to your store.

Also, a get a professional to redo the CSS with the usage of efficient selectors, this would go a long way as your page speed increases.

For instance, the huge Call to Action image on your homepage right now 114 KB.

I optimized it by almost 80% and as you can see below, it is now 28.4 KB - See any difference?

I am not a technical guy but the website is way too slow from here.
Also, I find it too cold, it doesn't feel like a nice place to be. I would put some picture of young happy people or a video. Of course there is not magic bullet, and testing could be expensive. This is just my 2 cents advice...
    Good luck!
