Hello,

I am interested in purchasing a few frameworks so that I can built websites for my clients. For now, I am stuck between Woothemes and Elegant Themes. I would like to hear about which one works best for you all.

Thanks in advance!

Brandon

I've been using this for a while rather than a Framework, SASS & LESS, Responsive. Its got the lot.

What makes it so special? Why do you use it? What do you use it for?

Because its the bare code with which to build Wordpress themes. Its comes with LESS (or SASS) which is a preprocessing language for CSS. It is also built using responsive media queries, so a separate style sheet for mobile, 481px up, 768px up, 1040px up, IE, retina displays if you want. Its also free which is a bonus.

Those are sites selling WP themes. Not frameworks.

I prefer Woothemes but this thing really depends on you because Elegant Themes are also very good. You should look on both websites to see all the themes and features and then think exactly what kind of websites you'll need to create.

i use bigcommerce for ecommerce and moonfruit for basic web development. they are frameworks in one sense. hosted frameworks essentially with a cms. super easy!

works for me. for bigger jobs i use modx and magento.

    hope this helps.
