Copying website to other domain - Displaying different - Help!

So I realized that its probably best to host my dap with vbulletin on one particular website.

Although I was working on another domain, I had the pages up with optimize press and protected with dap.

Anyways I exported the web pages over to my other domain and setup dap and protected the pages. (Its a wordpress website)

The only thing is that there are links showing up in the menu when I have not set anything up in the menu.

I even deleted the menu I want to have and there are still items showing up in the menu and I do not have a clue why and its so frustrating

Edit
I think I realize why
I have my rootdomain.com
I created rootdomain.com/newdomain

I have wordpress installed on both areas

I think my theme on my root domain is adding the menu for pages which I add on my newdomain

Any ideas how to prevent this? (I do just want to scream!)

Wrong assumption... you can have 123 WP install on a domain, all in different (sub)directories - as you have it - and they don't have to anything with each other.

The real question is: how did you "copy" over the website. Moving/copying just the files doesn't do anything - except creating mess

I used export from wp and then import on my new website

If I add a page it adds to the menu

Not sure how to stop this

    I found out why

It was the navigation in optimize press - nothing was selected as the membership menu so it automatically added pages.

I changed that and it all works
    Yay!!
