"Click to read more" Not working on my site...

Hi all,

Well I figured out the problem but I don't have a solution. Maybe you will get it?

On my theme options, magazine style is chosen rather than blog style. When I switch to blog style, the "read more" link appears and works! However.. it then doesn't show the featured image.

Only in magazine style it shows the image which is important because it is a product review site. It also asks for the # of excerpt characters to show and 180 is in that box. So right now it's one or the other but not both.

So how do I have the image show and also the ability to have the "read more" link be there?
Mountain River Stream

Thank you!

Based on your description it sounds as if the presence of the 'read more' link is based on a deliberate decision of the theme author: it is there with one option and it is not there with the other option.

To change it, you have to be comfortable to mess with the code in the template files of the theme. Those options are either using different template files to display the posts in a certain way, or the same template file with lots of "if... else" statements.

Unless some code-literate person takes a look at your theme and its template files, nobody would be able to help you. Anything else is just wild guessing...

      Great. Thanks for clarifying.
I have someone on Fiverr who should be able to edit this.
