Browser Display Issues?

Hi All,

While I do my best to check the display of my sites in all major browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) there seems to be a HUGE difference in 'colors' being displayed on my nav bars.

In IE and Chrome it appears as it should alternating maroon and tan, and inverting these colors when hovered over. Yet, in Firefox, the maroon looks pinkish, and when hovered over it simply goes generic... grey highlight with black lettering. -Looks like crap!

Is there some fix for this?

I am using Optimize Press to design this site, and assumed the color Hex codes I chose would be universally displayed on ALL browsers.

Not exactly sure what is causing this 'ugly' display on Firefox browser...Anyone?

Thanks,

Art

I do not know your CSS... so how can I know what the problem is???

It's for sure a CSS problem.

Understanding that it is a css issue, then I presume not all style sheets display the same in all browsers?

I suck at writing/designing css, so this is waaayyyy outta my league. But like I said, I was under the impression that hex color codes were universal... and until now I have never seen anything like this before.

Based on your response, I may have learned; the 'style sheet' being used (in Optimize Press) may be creating the problem, not necessarily the color codes themselves.

Edit: Correction... this problem is happening in both Chrome and Firefox browsers, and only displays properly in IE.

While the color codes are "universal" - the way different browsers render them and how different monitors display them, can be completely different.

It's very bare bones right now (no content yet) as I am working on designing it, so not much to see, here's the site:
