Looking for a course or lesson builder programme

Looking for software that will allow me to make a lesson for students. Will need to be fully customizable, and be able to add media, and also the ability to assess students by setting questions.
Needs to be able to run fully on localhost, and to include edit of student name and a print facility of assessment sheet.

    Most good webhosts have Moodle and you can install it free...worth taking a look at.

    You can go for Moodle ; this software is brilliant for setting up huge sets of questions and then go for assessment; also it can run fully on local host .I have personally used this software and used it for students examination purpose. It works great.
