Can't clear wp super cache

Hi there,

I installed WP super cache plugin few days back to speed up my site, since I am a webdesigner I keep on changing things off and on.

But after installing wp super cache I noticed even though I have change the layout the previous cached version shows up.

I have tried hard refresh (Ctrl +F5) also clearing the cache using browser history, but still everything is the same.

Out of frustration I have uninstalled the plugin but still the previous cached version shows up.

What's the way out?

Best to reinstall WP super cache and go to the control panel and tell wp super cache to clear the cache and turn it off. When you are through tweaking the site turn it back on.

This is exactly what I have to do, however WPcache is simply the best esp. when using it with a CDN

Use a plugin like W3 Total Cache... I always had trouble with WP Super Cache.

what browser are you using? The problem is most likely with your browser and not WP Super Cache. Clearing your history will do nothing, you need to clear the borwser "cache".

EDIT: Also, if you're using a CDN such as CloudFlare, you will need to purge that cache from their dashboard as well.

First, I would determine if it's your browser or something else.

View your site through another browser, or your phone, or whatever...can you see the changes? Or are things still cached?

If things are still cached with WP Super Cache uninstalled, then...are you using a CDN? Did you change some links to permanently point to the CDN? Did you purge the CDN?

      Those are my thoughts.
