What temples/builders should I use for a portfolio website

I need to build a website to show off all my graphic design work, video production and programs I have made to send to a few employers in the UK.

I have built a wordpress ecommerce site before however I think that is to simple and not in the layout I would like the site to be in.

Any scripts you recommend I should use on Fantastico De Luxe on my hosting or should I find a website builder. What do you guys think. I need this to look professional.
