Hi all,

I had this website Sozo Enterprise : Finest Selection Of Pu'Er | Sozo Enterprise is an online store that features wholesome products that will enhance a healthy lifestyle that resonates with your unique personal identity. We are the sole distributor in South-East Asia which had chinese text on it, however it is showing as garbled text on wordpress. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this issue?

Thanks.

It could be a couple of things:

    1. Try disabling the Google fonts as they might not contain Chinese characters.
    2. If you're cutting and pasting the text you need to paste it from a text editor with UTF-8 support such as Notepad++.

not sure but one thing I noticed on your site is that the slider is set up too fast in your header. Cant get a chance to readit before the slider/header changes

Character encoding incompatibility - < that's the official name of your troubles.

It means, as it was implied above, that feeds or text created with one type of character encoding is used in a file created with a different character encoding.

WordPress' default character set is utf-8, which is universal and can display any character set correctly. However, if the original text from where you copy or a feed from another site is encoded differently... then you are doomed.

P.S. During troubleshooting you should always test/check your blog with the default theme(s) and no plugins and with normal fonts.
