I'm developing a personal finance blog and I've found a perfect theme but I'm wondering if the color scheme is optimal. Here's a link to my site: http://reliablewealthsystem.com/ (super early stages of development)

A couple questions.

Is choosing a specific color scheme important?

Is this color scheme good enough?

    The color is OK I tend to prefer a blue over the



    but that's just a personal preference.

    For that category of website, I think just about any color should be OK unless it is really glaring. You don't want the visitors to focus on the site color, but the content.

    There is a concept called "color families" where all of the colors used on a website should belong to the same family in order to look harmonious. You may read about this subject in many places, including here:
