Default Help Desk software

Hi,

Can you recommend any good help desk software (preferably cheap or free)?

Customers should be able to open a case, and supporters from different location should be able to view and respond to this case, so it should also be web based.

Thanks.

Regards,
Thomas

There is a free help desk called "HelpCenterLive.com" - I have not used it personally, but I have heard it works fairly well for a free software.

There is also a free helpdesk software that comes with Fantastico if you have cpanel hosting, but it is pretty cumbersome and difficult to use.

I have my own help desk that integrates with my billing and customer management software.

Kayako.com or zendesk.com are probably the best and easiest helpdesks for you - I believe they offer a free trial and a low monthly fee.

OSTicket comes with most webhosting packages with CPanel.

It's free, highly configurable, and works exactly as you've described your need.

Check your Fantastico!

Best,

Brian

If your willing to spend a little bit Kayako Is spectacular, and you can get it monthly for around $39, the only downside is it can be tricky to set up if your not technically inclined.

Ticket desk Pro from Frank Heywood is really good and for a one off fee you can install it onto as many sites as you own.

I offer one free installation if anyone purchases it through my affiliate link.
Provided they have the correct hosting requirements.

Anyone interested, pm me for a link.

Hello! :-) I can recommend a good help desk script that
is created by a fantastic programmer who goes by the name
MrCGIGuy... he might still be a member of the Warrior Forum.

The script is called FreeTicket.

FreeTicket is basically a simple, easy to use, trouble ticket
system that allows you to easily organize and respond to
incoming messages from your customers. It's primarily a web
based system that helps you avoid having spam filters get
in the way of you receiving (and replying) to messages.

You can perform a quick Google search with the information
that I've provided to locate the script. I'd provide a direct
link, but this account doesn't have enough posts to permit
me to do that. Anyway, I hope you found this helpful!
