Hi everyone,

I have seen that wordpress provides premium blogs with .com, .net extention.
What kind of hosting they provide.
How much traffic they can handle.
Has anyone tried them.

Please shared your experience and views on it

Thanks

Check your eyes: they have never offered anything at wordpress.net!

What they offer at wordpress.COM... those are not "premium blogs". Those are free blogs that anybody can create on WP's domain. You don't own it, they own the blog!

Furthermore, READ the terms before asking! > Terms of Service — WordPress.com
(pay special attention #2; paragraph with yellow highlight)

Hmmmm, I understand they offer free blogs with someaddress+wordpress.com but they also offer TLD when you enter the blog address checkout here https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/ It cost $18/ year. What are those?

They are designed for free hobby blogs.

        If you are monetizing content, you almost must violate as Istvan mentioned Terms of Service -- WordPress.com #2;
content designed to drive traffic to third party sites

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

If you don't have the correct information, don't post idiotic advice.

You can NOT "monetize" wp.com blogs - it is against their TOS. Which means they will delete it in a second!

(don't spam the forum with nonsense post because they will get deleted: the mods here hate spam...)

    "They are very good"

    "They are amazing"

    "They are nice"

    "They are beautiful"

What else you want to hear ?

Get a .com domain, download Wordpress from wordpress.org, install it, install theme, put up content. Do what you want in your site the way you want it instead of any limitations.

You have all this for free, only hosting and domain would cost you which is not expensive nowadays.

I think it will not give you any special treatment for SEO purpose...but only you will be able to install it with ease.
