Creating a page when creating a link Wordpress plug in?

Hi guys!
I'm working on my collection gallery.

Creating a page, then going back to add a link seems a little inefficient to me. I was wondering if there was a plug in where I can highlight what I want to make a link, make it a link and create a new page at the same time?

Thanks!

There are several plugins for creating a page/duplicating/cloning....
but what you asking is kinda backwards.

If your on a page, then you highlight some text to add a link, WordPress cannot create a link to a page that doesn't exist. (at least not display it among the page list like it does).

You'd have to fill in the custom url field and make sure you accurately name the "soon to be created page".

I see what your getting at, but wouldn't you want to better plan your site structure/pages from the start rather then try to create a page while editing another page?

The closest thing you could do is twofold:
Grab the duplicate post plugin which allows you to duplicate/clone the page your on and use as is
    OR
Grab the duplicate post plugin and modify it to do something closer to what you want by integrating it into the create link modal thickbox.

Lot's of plugins and and themes use this plugin (or the code from it) in their products.
    Optimize Press is one.

Note: It might be better to post this topic in the programming talk sub forum since this is a web design forum.

    Thanks for the recommendations!

Plug-in discussion is better suited for the programming talk subforum? Appreciate that, too! Didn't realize I had been posting about plugins in the wrong section.
