Hey guys,

I'm finishing the remodel of my site, and one thing I'm stuck on is what to do with my lead generation form.

I have form on my homepage: onlinevirusrepair.com along with under "get started"

- What should happen after you fill out the form for help?
- Should it ask if you'd like us to call you/start a chat on a new page?
- Can this be improved?

I need this form to store information in my database, but I can push the info anywhere it needs to go. I just need this to be simple for elderly/less computer savvy folks.

Thanks for the help!

It appears that all you offer to get started is "start a chat" if there is a 24/7/365 live responder, you don't need anything else.

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

I do systems integration and consultation for a living.

    Some items I would recommend:

First instead of Get Started maybe change it to Get Help Now! Also make it bigger and have it stand out. It gets buried a little bit with everything going on. People who may find you, may have an immediate need.

Second since you are talking about folks who aren't computer savvy from personal experience I notice they like to stare in the middle of the screen. I would have the live chat window pop up in the middle of the screen, maybe even in a lightbox. You would be surprise how most of them won't notice that bottom right corner.

Lastly some Elderly people hate, hate typing. Maybe when that chat window pop up, remind them right there they have the option to call you. Since you are USA based, when then hear you or your techs on the phone, they will be happy to talk to you.

Even better yet, offer to call them if they input their number and request for immediate assistance.

I own the domain name techserviceonline.com for years without using it. You have motivated me to get this going.

Maybe you can put off the form from your site. You can use the pre-chat survey function of live chat to collect the users' information.
