WP JetPack site stats sucks - alternative?

I'm using Jet-pack site stats and I find that it doesnt give good information like who are clicking my links where are they from and all those good stuff.

What would you recommend as an alternative to the site stats on Word Press?

      I use StatCounter for my sites and most client sites. Their free account is fully functional and shows the last 500 pageloads on your website. When your log is full, it continues to operate; the oldest entry is replaced with the newest entry that comes in.

      There is also a statcounter plugin at Wordpress... up to date and functions perfectly.
