Remove Comments from Wordpress Pages?

WEB DESIGN

I am working on making updates to my site and I noticed that some of my pages have comments and some don't.

This suggestions that at one point, I knew how to remove them? If this is the case, I totally forget how to do it.

Do I have to go into the php file or is there a setting I need to look for somewhere in the theme?

I am using the Gary White Black theme by GetStyle.

You can just disable the comment on a Page by Page basis (scroll down when editing/writing)... but that still would leave the ugly "comments closed" or something similar displayed.

If you want them to disappear completely, you will need to edit the Page template file(s) and comment out or remove this:

<?php comments_template(); ?> <?php // comments_template(); ?> <== this one is commented OUT; will not appear!
