Default Best web design tool

Hi everyone,

I need some little help. I'm starting to learn how to design a website by myself. I just don't know what is the best web design tool available for a beginner like me. Any suggestions?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I think if you are not familiar with coding than you can use site-builder which are provided by hosting company.

Hello! :-) I'd recommend trying an product called NVU. Just go
to Google and do a quick search for the term: NVU and it
should come up as the first natural result. No worries, it's a free
tool and it is very popular. I hope you found this helpful, and
best of luck with your web design adventures.

I would recommend Dreamweaver (this is a basic and pro tool), but it's great for any level of webdesign.

Also you may want to check out something like Joomla or Wordpress.

I would recommend something like fantastico to install a free piece of software and then just use some free templates from the web.

I would suggest any program where you can see the code and what it looks like visually. Dreamweaver is a popular example but there are cheaper alternatives. Using straight up code takes a long time to learn, which can frustrate some people. Using a program that does everything for you...doesnt really teach you anything. So I think using a program that lets you edit the code but still see the output visually is best for beginners.
