After a while of "giving up" and having to take my site down I'm back at it!

AG Beats | Beats For Sale | Your Personal Producer!

Can I get a review of my site from some unbiased people?

  • Is it easy to navigate and is the shopping cart easy to understand
  • Should I put the 'what you get' before the player, or leave the player at the top?
  • How could I better organize the elements of the home page?
Im at a loss for more questions right now, I'm open to all criticism. One thing I know I need to do is get at the least a better logo at the top.

I have a 64% bounce rate, and I'm not experiencing that many conversions. By conversions I mean sign ups and purchases. I was running a PPC ad a week or so ago and I think that I got one sale out of it. I got a few sign ups, I think two or three.

I bought a book "Web Marketing all in One for Dummies" and I plan on using it to better understand analytics and goal tracking and all that so I can keep better track of my numbers and understand it, and to also know how to use PPC better.

My goal is this:

72k per year which equals:

2,667 sales per year with an average sales price of $27

223 sales per month

56 sales per week

8 sales per day.

With a .1% conversion rate, I need 223k visitors per month.

.5% = 44,600 visitors per month

1% = 22,300

2% = 11,150

What is the best way for me to go about achieving my goal? Does anyone know any firms that I could outsource the stuff I dont like doing (like design, branding, ppc campaigns, etc) so I can just focus on creating and uploading new beats, and possibly content for a blog section to help drive traffic?

Sorry this is so long, but there's a lot to this. If anyone can direct me to a company that I could team up with I'm willing to start saving and pay for the right service provider.

    Turn off comments.

You need a better design. No compelling call to action.

I would be surprised if you sell anything with that site, to be honest. It doesn't attract attention. Nor does it zero in on a need. Nor does it make the case that YOU have the solution to people's needs.

decent looking site. my only criticism would be that it seems like you
land on a "buy it now" page with no explanation. could be I am not very
familiar with your product but my first thought was OK why am I buying
these beats? I guess it depends where you are getting your traffic from.
might help if you had a bit more of a sales page.

I viewed it and it wouldn't finish loading. I cannot tell what it is selling. Like others have said, there is no call to action. Ask yourself this, what is your target audience's biggest obstacle? Whatever that is, then take that answer and turn it into a question. Ex. Your headlines should read-Are you tired of...?, or Do you struggle with...? Then Ag beats can transform......

Focus every single headline and sales copy on what your average customer struggles with. and present yourself as the only solution to their problem. I am sure you have heard it before that the money is in your email list(since you have it prominently positioned) but....what BENEFIT will those 5 free beats give them? what will it enable them to do? FOCUS ALL OF YOUR SALES HEADLINES & COPY ON THE END RESULT THAT THE CONSUMER IS SEEKING and you will be a success. 1 more thing...humans are visual. Ex. Pinterest is such a huge success because it is visual. You need images to evoke emotions from your page visitors. Place some powerful images above the fold that your audience can relate to. Best image to pick would be one of a person that your target audience is trying to be like.

  • 1. I think you are overlooking one important factor. The beats themselves. I'm going to take a guess that 65 BPM is the average for most of your beats on that player. I would work on getting some different flavors in there at higher BPM's etc.

    2. Linking to a Facebook page that has only 1 like may do more damage than good.
Also, if you check "how" your visitors are leaving your site, I can almost guarantee that it's through one of those social media links.

    3. This should be the landing page:
Download 5 Beats Free! AG Beats

Or at least make the optin and free beats offer more prominent similar to that page. Once you capture leads, you can follow up.

    4. The page is not exciting and there is not much else going on other than your beats for sale. Offer some of those tips and tricks right on the site instead of in the email once they subscribe. Have a look at some of the big boys online and see what they are doing. Color schemes etc.

I.E. Buy Beats & Instrumentals online, Download Hip Hop Beats, R&B Beats, Dubstep Instrumentals and much more! | Prime Beats

    Good luck.

Thanks for all the tips here guys.

I kinda wanna disagree and say I do have C2Action but obviously it's not enough if you guys arent picking up on it.

I think my next step is going to be saving and hiring out a designer. My only thing is that I need to find a designer who can design with sales in mind not just looks. Time to start researching!

I believe that saving for/spending on a design at this point would be much more beneficial than PPC, what do you think?

Also, as far as checking in to HOW people are leaving the site, how can I check that? I'm running Google Analytics. My bounce rate is ~65%

I think Im gonna hit up some designers and see if I can get a good quote.

I'll probably take stoltingmediagroup's advice and make a really compelling optin page be the home page and do all my PPC to that page.

As far as different styles of beats, I'm not really gonna do that. Im not looking to sell to anyone and everyone at this point. Mainly people looking for dirty south style "trap" or "club" beats. I am versatile and do do other stuff, but dirty south type beats are the majority so thats the niche I'm going to focus on at least for right now. Not saying I'm not open to expanding later.

I think the first thing i need to do is get a really hot design going and then move from there.
