Drag Drop Feature Not Working in Theme

Hey,

I've been trying to get the "Convertible Theme" by Elegant themes to work. My membership expired a few months ago (you're still allowed to use the themes, but you just can't post of their forums anymore).

So the theme loads properly. The only issue is that I can't drag any of the icons down onto the canvas.

I've tried downgrading wordpress all the way to version 3.5. The theme version (2.2) I'm using was created a few months after that wordpress 3.5. That still didn't help.

Next, I tried 3 different browsers. That didn't work either.

I'm hoping this clicks with someone and I can be pointed in the right direction

    Something is causing a JavaScript and/or ajax issue. Likely another plugin.
    I would deactivate everything except what your trying to work with, then try it again.
    You may find there's a plugin not correctly loading assets in the admin area, this is all too common..

    ...And make sure your browser doesn't have an addon that's causing an issue or blocking scripts.

    Edit: I must have glossed over your note about the theme release back to an old version.
    You would have to use the theme with the last stable version it was intended for...
    or better yet...
    update your theme to the latest, ElegantThemes is super cheap.

    Hey thanks.

    I got it to work now. I did trial error method to figure out which plugin was causing the problem and realized that I needed to disable ckeditor.
