Copying and uploading images to your website

Hello all

I am having trouble getting images uploaded to my template site. After many attempts the image finally uploaded, but the image quality was choppy.

How can I do this so the image quality remains the same, without having to use banners for the offers? I tried banners but not only it looks a little unprofessional but the bigger, better looking banners would screw up the template (words and graphics go through the borders of the template)

Thanks a lot for your responses

    So any takers? If I could have somebody to this for me, please let me know so we can make an offer.

    Looking forward to work with a good web site expert.

    Do you have a screen shot or a link so I could see exactly what the problem is?

    The first thing I would check with an image problem is the image size. If you use <img src="typing.jpg" width="216" height="324"> and get the size wrong I've read (but haven't seen) that browsers muck it up a bit trying to force it into the wrong size. So I am really careful with that.

      Ok, looks like I finally figured out how to display the image on my site!

      Only one little problem...below is the screenshot of my template.(please click on it to see it better, the problem is the image size displayed below the pic which is circled)

      I used ImageShack to display the screen shot image of my site, using "Thumbnail for Websites " I also used it to display the image you see below using "Thumbnail for forums":

      As you can see the display of the image size (circled) is below the picture and I can't seem to get of it. It is also below this forum screenshot (1024 x 768 68kb)

      Below is the code I used. I altered the image so no other bookmarking links and such show up, but have been unsuccessful in getting rid of the image size display:

      href="http://www.mywhitening.com/?B=3&amp;A=1086&amp;SubAffiliateID=39221"
      target="_blank"><img
      src="http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/4526/whiteningnow1.th.jpg"
      alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us" border="0"></a>

      So in summary, for those that use ImageShack to display images on their sites please let me know what you do with the code to make the picture display without the image size description below it. If it's not possible, no big deal. If there is a different program besides ImageShack that's better, let me know too....

      Hope I'm clear with this - I'm a newbie when it comes to html codes let alone explaining it!

      Thanks a lot

        Why use free image hosting? Just get a shared hosting account with unlimited bandwidth, E.g. Hostgator or most other hosting sites. Gives you a lot more control over your files.

          Thank you Gimme4Free. I did not know and wasn't aware of using hosting sites for images. I have a hosting account in GoDaddy, can that also be used to host my images? Also, would I be able to resize images there? I'll call GoDaddy to see if they can help too.

          Thanks again
