Anyone ever built an Escorts website or know of a good theme to use?

Funny cause I also read a lot of photography forums and photographers always have a hard time with this one too. Usually it's best to not ask much about their business or what they do, this way you can always claim ignorance if said escort faces any legal issues.

I don't have any experience with adult websites, maybe you should visit a few and jot some notes down on the layout Should have a landing page saying your about to enter adult content and need to be of age to enter the site.

If there's going to be nude images you have to be compliant with the law and there needs to be record keeping. look into 18 U.S.C. § 2257 : US Code - Section 2257: Record keeping requirements. Not sure if it applies directly to you, but it's about putting sexually explicit content online.

Sounds like a fun project, but do some research about the legality of adult websites, especially in your local area, and be smart if you do the site.

For such websites i would advice you to use custom layout for that either you should have a good design capabilities or hire professional designer to make an attractive layout

I used to own a popular escort site in the Bay Area years ago. I had someone write the code because I couldn't find one that did everything I wanted it to do.

I've built a few video sites as well as landing pages for adult sites and I'm sure this is going to use some of the same type of rules for it, but I would totally suggest in creating a custom theme for this depending on your theme, however regardless of theme, most of them will still have to be edited:

1.) The very first page should be a dynamic "Enter your age" page, once they select the age, a cookie is stored to save their data and have it expire every 24 hours, it will annoy the hell out of some people if they have to put it every time, but basically you dont have this page, you're inviting everyone regardless of age to your site. This is something youll most likely have to program inside whatever theme you get.

2.) Make sure to be complaints with record keeping codes and laws. If you going to have a "gallery" of your "models", its important to have it on the bottom footer, and even the about us page.

3.) Since you're technically offering something "tangible" and not just a video or photo you would normally order online, you should look into adding a verification system into your template for age and of course identity as well. You dont want undercover agents ordering there and then busting them for prostitution lol. You know how the law loves to setup you and then bust you.

4.) Gallery System - Even if you find a good theme, again youll have to edit it to show a "gallery" and such.

I'd suggest just hiring someone to code it for you. It'll be better for what you're doing lol.
