Best on-premise project management software?

Hello fellow warriors,

Is there any cost effective project management software which can be downloadable to our server and use forever.

The main features we would like to be in it are...

  • Multiple team management : To manage multiple groups with different projects. Restriction facility for each group, no each group can be seen or interacted.
  • Client dashboard to know about the project management for clients.
  • Invoice and billing system.

    One of the best self hosted ones is activecollab. Not sure if it has an invoicing/billing system though.

    I'm getting set to release a WordPress plugin that is a Project Management system. It has everything except an invoice/billing system.

      Yes, they do having billing.

    I am not sure why you are looking for an On-Premise software, probably because of the security or data privacy issues.

    In that case I would recommend basecamp, but if in-case you wanted to try a Saas based project management tool too, then try Replicon's project management software - http://www.replicon.com/project-and-program-management
