Dear Warriors,

I last posted in the website Design forum when starting out a previous venture and got a lot of help on design improvements. A kind warrior even designed me a logo I'm still using today!

Now I'm back with another venture centered on an interest and an area I could class myself as an expert in. Anxiety

So now I've got the website up and running and want critical reviews of things like..

overall Design, color, layout, content, community approach, professionalism, domain name etc..

Site: Anxiety Nurse - Community for people with Anxiety

I've not SEO the content as yet but know basics and will do in future.

thanks for feedback and advice on seo, I will improve this later on,

so the logo, color scheme lend well to the topic? Sometimes I design to what I like and forget to think about what others might think. I wanted to create a site people eventually will use services that I offer later down the road, may sell products too.

Your website looks clean! Don't add too much else or your site will start to get complicated which will increase your bounce rate.

How do you plan on monetizing it? If you add banner adds don't add too many.

One thing you could add is a pop up asking for your visitors email address. You would want to give them something of value in exchange for their email though.

      Thanks all nice positive feedback

I do like critical feedback too.. but hey if my site is good then there shouldn't be so much!

Popup form is a good idea when I have time I will try to implement this. I will monetize with own products, affiliate links and possibly services in the form of group/1 on 1 sessions over skype.

I'm not to keen on banner ads for this kind of website

Next step: I need to read all about newsletters as I never sent these before.

    Hi Adam
Looking good. I like that it is simple and minimalistic. I just have a few comments:
    1) I would do something about the newsletter sign up form. It is placed in a good position (header), but it should be aligned to the right if you ask me - also the color could be more like the logo?
    2) I don't link to have "categorized" in the Categories (sidebar widget)
    3) I would show less of the posts on the blog page (use a <!--more--> tag) and make a hook in the intro
You can see my newest site here: 101webdesigns.com -
    Good luck

article titles are way to far apart fix that. Nobody wants to scroll forever to look at the titles you have.

yep good advice, if only i had time i would be fixing it.

I agree about the titles and scrolling articles.. the theme I use allows for a cool magazine mode so will have a fiddle with that.

      Thankyou

Your site is looking professional and content of the site is looking pretty good too. I would advice you to add more images and more optimization of the images to make it better, otherwise site is looking pretty good.
