Help with forum design

Hello warriors

I started a forum a couple of months ago and its going really well but i have hit a problem if you could help me out i would really appreciate it.

I started the forum with phpbb and have been indexed by google for three of my keywords, for the last couple of days two of my keywords have dropped of the scope then re appear now and again.

If you are familiar with phpbb you will know the permalink structure is not 100% seo friendly as the links turn out like this. mydomin.com/viewforum.php?f=8 could this be the problem?

The other people in my niche see to have a good permalink structure www.thierdomian.com/keyword but most of them are working with wordpress.

I know vbulletin have permalink structure that is easy to work with should i just go with them?

I have only ever previously worked with word press so phpbb is still new to me is there a way to change the permalinks myself or is this not possible.

    I used phpbb but currently I am using vbulletin for my forum, feel good with it. I suggest you should change to vbulletin to custom your url (permalink) or something else easily.

    Probably, your keywords drop of the scope because the content is not that good. If you can, try moderating every post by users.
