Website Counter - I Need Your Help!

WEB DESIGN

We're running a website on Sitecore and looking to implement a count down timer to feature: Days, Hours and Minutes (seconds, weeks, years ect - are not required).

An example would be: Javascript CountDown demo - little web things

Since we're using Sitepoint we're quite limited to big internal solutions so we are looking for a simple solution.

Can anyone tell me how I could implement this?

I tried the link above but ran into problems - likely due to my lack of knowledge of JQuery?

  I tried copying and pasting the code as well as installing the jquery into a directory on my site. But it didn't work.

  I just downloaded the complete script and it worked fine for me. Go to this page...

  Download the 'HTML under construction page (zip)'.
  
  Unzip that, then open up the index.html file in your editor, scroll down to the Javascript near the bottom of that file, and change the date to sometime in the future.
