WEB DESIGN

I'm looking to create a form which has two fields:

Personal message
Address

The visitor clicks submit and goes and fills in their payment information - this would be step 2 of the form (hidden initially - but shown on the same page).

Sounds simple?

I want this to be in a widget in wordpress.

Still sounds simple?

Well, I want the personal message and address to be delivered via email to me only once the payment has been made.

Still sounds simple?!

I want to use PayPal for the payment.

How can I implement this?

If PayPal make things difficult can anyone recommend a viable third party solution?

  That shouldn't be too difficult for any web developer who's comfortable tweaking existing WP plugins. For someone who's not -- it could be a bit of a challenge.
  
  I don't use WP myself, so I can't recommend any specific plugins for this. But these are the type of plugins you would need...
  
  * WordPress show/hide plugin
  * WordPress Paypal plugin
  * WordPress send email plugin
  
  If you're not comfortable messing around with WordPress plugin code (PHP, Javascript / jQuery, etc.), then you would need to hire someone that is, because you would have to know how to edit those plugins and integrate all of them together.

The big question is, way a two step process?

Are you looking to capture their information in the first step to add to a mailing list? If so, this might not work for you, but you could have a opt-in from your autoresponder service in your widget. In your AR service, you set it so it sends them to the second step url. Or maybe that won't work for you? Just a thought.

You could use Visual Form Builder Pro or Gravity Forms. Each has a PayPal plugin. I've created this with these tools many times.

Yep sounds simple. The hiding and showing is just basic javascript, and then use paypals IPN to get a callback from the purchase to send the email.

Any developer that knows what they're doing should be able to fix this for you pretty quickly.
