redirect problem

I usually do landing pages or sites when I promote an offer, however I decided to do a redirect to an offer which I'm fairly new at. I registered a domain name and entered my affiliate info into a redirect generator,entered that into the webpage html,uploaded it to my server, and tested it successfully.My web url directed to the affiliate landing page...no problem. I set up my ad's in google with the display url as my webpage, and tried setting my destination url to both the merchant page, and then my url. On both occasions,Google has disapproved all my ad's stating inaccurate display url...am I missing something here?

    I believe your display url and destination url must be directing to the same domain or sub domain...something new Google has added over the past year.
