Can someone please share with me how to remove a website builder from my domain? In the middle of creating my website I changed builders.I started with Trendy web builder And midway through I changed to another website builder.Now when I key in my URL dot com I'll get the builder and its waiting for me to continue.On the other hand I key in my URL dot com forward slash wp and get my wordpress website and its all done. Needless to say I cant get or add backlinks this way . Please hel.

    What was your experience with Trendy Website Builder?
    Which other website builder did you go for?
    I would contact tech support so that they can sor out any incompatibility.

    I have no idea what "your" website builder does... however, I am almost certain your problems are NOT related to it.

    It is just a matter of deleting files: you have an index file created in the root directory of your domain (example.com <== always use this for EXAMPLE, btw) - and you have WordPress installed in a subdirectory called /wp/

    Connect to your site via FTP and delete every file from the root directory - most likely it is named public_html.

    Then go the WP online manual and learn how to MOVE your WP installation from that subfolder to the root.

    If you don't know what FTP is or have no idea how to perform the tasks described above - you need to hire a webmaster.

    I was using Trendy Website Builder when i was new to designing and programming but I would prefer to use dreamweaver and photoshop to make my own design rather htan using a builder
