Getting a theme for buddypress pages.

Hello,

I have a confusing situation here and hope that someone can help me out a little bit.

I currently am using WP Prosper as my wordpress theme and I downloaded buddypress. I also have s2member as well. I have been using s2member and mingle to have my social network of my site. It works fine but I see lot's more that I want to customize and buddypress has the plugins needed to do so. Only problem now is that the WP Prosper theme isn't compatible with buddypress.

So I thought about changing the theme of only my social network pages to a buddypress compatible theme. So I found a free theme that I want to use called Spyker. It works well with buddypress but it needs some customization. For instance, the top navigation and category navigation bars show almost every post that I have made. Which can make the navigation bars quite thick. I only want them to show what my homepage shows in the navigation bars. I can customize it if I change my whole site to the Spyker theme but just changing a few pages doesn't give me the option to customize.

How would I make this look the way that I want to?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

As of BuddyPress v1.7 it's compatible with all WP themes.

As far as customization, there's no way around it.
Either customize the templates in your theme to look the way you want with BP, or use the new theme and customize.
If you don't have the knowledge to perform the customization's, reality is you'll have to pay someone.

Thanks for the reply. Buddypress is not compatible with WP Prosper. I have personally tried it out. It won't let Buddypress pages show up. But once I switch the page to a Buddypress compatible theme, then it works no problem. Only I don't want the theme that it works with to look the way it does. I need to customize it. Just didn't know if someone could help me out. Like maybe if I show them which theme I want and what I want it to look like.

      Thanks again for the reply.
