Wordpress Backup Buddy Problem with Main Page

Hi,

I just used BackupBuddy to migrate my website to GoDaddy. I did a full restore and the site is up and functional. Can even login to the WP-admin and all works fine...except...

The main page or index.html wont show up. When you go to the URL you just get a white page. When you type in for example: www.yoursitenameexample/index.html the theme shows up and you can navigate around the site. Once you hit the HOME menu and it goes back to the root URL it goes back to a non-functional state.

I logged in to the wp-admin and changed/tested some pages as the main index page but the settings wont hold. Still the same problem.

The site is there its just the main page doesnt work. Any clues?

    First, I'm not sure why you would have an index.html in WordPress?
    If your using a static landing page make sure it doesn't reside next to the WP index.php
    Look at your site root for WP and make sure there is only one index file.

    2nd, what's your site url? It would be easier to see it.

    Also a couple questions:
    Is the site (files) installed in the root or a subfolder?
    and
    What are your site settings for...
    "Settings" --> "General" -->
    WordPress address (URI):
    Site address (URL):

    If the site is in the root they should be the same.
    If in a subdirectory they should not be the same if you want the site to show with the main site url.
