Please review my sports related site

It doesn't scream SPORTS NEWS! Looks a little bare. I'd add some content below each blog post on the front page i had to scroll down to finally see partial articles. This will draw them into the article besides the quick title name. the logo box on the header does not seem relevant to anything sports Just seems a little unprofessional. I'd also add content on each slideshow pic. If you're going to run a news page, you need to show... news. the sidebar is redundant with the articles on the frontpage as well. If you can match something like yahoo for a slideshow to display your featured news articles then that'd be a great perk to your site. It's not bad, It's just not going to compete with other professional sports news sites out there.

picture in the slider are deformed, really bad first view.
Bub graphic is very nice and comfortable foy eye.

If those are the images that you have to show in the slider, then you need to put matched borders to them so that the image doesn't have to be stretched - stretched like that doesn't look impressive, nor does the model thrown in there for no reason. Here's a quick mockup of what I mean:
