Hello all

I want to replace my Wordpress header with an email opt in form. The whole header will have logo, text and email opt in.

I have seen a guy on Fiver that does these and they look ok, but I would like to do it myself.

So, I can design the header, but I'm unsure how to add the email text boxes and then make it work with Aweber code.

This is the kinda thing I want here but slight variation

Marie Forleo will help you create a business and life you love.

Any help will be good thanks

The easy way would be to create a child theme and copy the "header.php" file to the child theme directory and edit the file to include the Aweber code

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

Thanks Robin and as it happens I am just creating some child themes, so will create a header. When you say 'include the Aweber code, would I just create a form in Aweber and take the code they generate.

Im new to this so could you explain a little how my design and the Aweber code tie into each other?

      Thanks

Did you try a right-click > View source (or Inspect element if in Chrome) on that example page of yours? You could have seen all the code how it was done....

Practically, you need separate divs for all the items you want to display there. Then define the properties of those divs in the stylesheet.

      Thanks Istvan

I have looked at the right click option, I would never have done that but will have a go

      Thanks
