How to Play audio on Once a visit

I have embeded an audio mp3 music & I would like to play it only once when a visitor visits the page but when he reload he should not hear the music. Could anybody help me or let me know the code that how I can play it once per session. I heard that it can be set through javascript cookie setting codes but I am not getting. Please help.

Not sure how this is done - but as an avid web surfer - I never ever want to hear music automatically play on a website - even once.

That is only my personal opinion though
