I'm running an SMF forum as an add-on to my blog web site. Recently it's been plagued with porn spammers (they are now banned), but is there a way for all posts to be approved before they go live. I've searched the Admin menu but can't find a way to implement this.

Thanks - Anne

My setup is the same, but I've had no spam since I installed a captcha package. I use cavecost captcha and it seems to stop the bots.

Yeah, I would agree with the captcha idea. It works wonders against spammers!

Thanks for the suggestion. I already implement the basic, built in SMF captcha, I'll upgrade to something more sophisticated and see how that works.
