Editting a 404 not found page

Does anyone have advice on how to edit a 404 not found page?

I am using wordpress, but I haven't found any plugins to accomplish this.

Any advice, direction, or suggestions greatly appreciated!

    When it comes to 404 pages, if your theme doesn't come with one and you can't find a 404.php file to edit, then I suggest you begin with this tutorial on WordPress about creating/editing one. Creating an Error 404 Page « WordPress Codex If you're looking for someone to make one for you, check the usual sites such as fiverr for someone to make one for you.

    Easy, just edit the 404.php file in your WP theme folder. If there isn't one, create one.

        It can be in a lot of places. The theme I use most keeps it in index.php

        If you take the text that is showing on your Not found pages and search your theme for it you can find the file and edit it.

        Easiest way to do that is by downloading the theme files and then using a text editor like notepad lite that can do a global search.
