Hi Brian,
since is your first attempt, it's pretty good.

The inputs I can give you are these:

is better that all the links open on the same page,
all bold letters makes no sense to me

I'd choose another tonality of yellow.

Yes make the text normal size, since it will then look a lot more professional.

Keep in mind that the overall design is very 1990's. It isnt fresh and smooth like the sites you generally see today. Your visitors first impression might be that it is a very old and out of date site. Also those cash bills on the header are not cropped properly and makes the page look a bit cheesy.

I think its a good first effort though. Congratulations on you first site!

You have taken the first and biggest step, now just keep working on it little by little

  Knowing that this is your first really surprise me, you made a great job in making your site. It looks professional.
  
  As what Luckies said it is much better that your navigation or sidebar link open in your current page not in new window since its your sub-pages after all.
  
  And the bold font in your content try change it, or choose some font style that will compliment in your bold text.

hey Brian;

for first website it is pretty good... try to create more professional looking logo... for inspiration go to logopond(dot)com and for your website to look more modern change the black and white image to another color image and use more simple buttons for menu.

The navigation needs work. It's too frustrating to use.

Check your menu for consistency. I saw a page where there were two home buttons.

Don't open links into a new window unless you're linking to something off site. The popups will drive your visitors crazy.

Check your targets. When on the seo-elite page, I click home and it takes me to profit lance... not the home page.

I agree with bolding only what you want to emphasize rather than the whole paragraph.

Step 1: Hire a web designer.
Step 2: Sit back and relax while they make your site look great. I'd say don't worry about the design, and hand it over to a professional :-)

I haven't looked over the other comments, so apologies if I repeat anything.
Not sure how detailed you would like, but here goes.
for a very first website using an online site builder, its ok, it's a start and has the content, but not the look that says 'trust my opinion'

I would recommend the following:
- Wherever possible use higher quality ad banners, the existing look kind of old and uninteresting.
- header: I would have a whole new header used if the system allows. the hand with the cash looks like a hooker to me. move tagline under the main
- Not that the graphic is much better, but use a logo from profit lance instead of the big green box.
- I'm totally not a fan of spinning things, so though some may like it, the spinning money needs to go. if you are trying to highlight the 'find out more' link, use a graphic button instead of the spinning dimes and waving cash. All 'click here' links need to be much more evident, using graphic vs stars,animations,etc will bring positive attention to the link.
- Pick one color theme and stick with it. I'd drop the menu style altogether.
- Add alt tags to your images, there aren't any
- Contact us link is dead
- Check over all your keywords. google shouldn't be showing closet organization ads on the webhosting page!
- Dont overuse bold fonts, use to highlight if anything.
- The 'at a glance' header font, doesnt work, stick with the page font, use different color
it will come together, just keep refining it!
