Conversion Troubles, Bad Design?

I've been trying to market my own physical products on my website. I've been having a little bit of difficulty converting and I don't know what I should do to improve sales and traffic.

Couple questions,

1) Could the website design/format be improved in some way?

2) Is there something else you think that is effecting my sales? (example:to high of prices for my products?)

3) I've been getting 200-300 views on average to my site a month, I don't have an autoresponder but a facebook page in replacement for it, (is this a wise or stupid choice?) I don't have the money to be paying for autoresponder when I dont have more than 10 people's emails.

4) Advice in general to help me out in this situation.

(more background: I convert once every 500 or so visits. Had a few more around the holidays, a few less during other times)

    A couple of suggestions,
    * Instead of the just having image slide show, you can put pictures of your most popular products with "Learn more" or "Order Now" button.
    * "View Products" button the home page, make it bigger and standout more, maybe a different color.
    * A footer with terms, privacy, copyright stuff will make it more profesional

I'd redo the whole thing if it were me.

Your use of color is particularly awful.

I counted 13 colours on one page.

The content above the fold is pretty much useless.

This is hard to learn, but you should go read some useful design blogs like:

      socialtriggers.com
      IMscalable.com

Otherwise you're probably best hard-hitting the phones and cold call selling.

When I visit the page it is all a little bit confusing. The phrase style over substance comes to mind.

The site needs stripping back and REAL focus on the purpose of the site: SELLING.
        • Add sales banners
        • Add products to the homepage with links to deatiled specifications with clear images
        • More products are needed

Thank you for the advice everyone!

I definitely will have to change up my homepage to include more offers on the main page.

I should add more items too, I suppose that would help a lot.

I've been using weebly and its kinda hard to do exactly what I want to do with most of the website. Especially when it comes to the products page, hard to get the exact layout I would have liked.

I'm going to redo a bunch of stuff and hopefully improve it some more.

    1. The font work, needs to be cleaned up, it doesn't look professional because of too many different kinds of fonts, shapes, colors.
    2. Instead of "View our products", put some small thumbnails of your top product/s. And then in faded text under that, you can put "View our products".
    3. Have an image of an LED light next to "LIGHT UP YOUR RIDE".
    4. Might be a good idea to show more images of actual LED applications. Like images of happy customers next to their lit-up bikes. (Probably best to put these at the bottom of the homepage?)
    5. The Facebook box title text is a terrible color choice.
    6. Your paragraphs of text could be easily simplied into fewer words and use more images...like: "Sport Bikes", "Super Motos", "Harley Riders". "Multi-Colored LEDs", "Side Emitting Audi LED strips". "Blog", "Videos", "Custom Requests".
    7. Instead of "WHATS NEW WITH MSBM? FIND OUT ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER!", you could just have "Follow MSBM on FACEBOOK & TWITTER!"

Oh a positive note, it's your homepage that needs serious help. The other pages, like the product pages are much better (but could still use improvement).

I am a huge motorcycle enthusiast and I like the overall design to the website. I also like your product lineup. My only issue is with the add to cart in paypal. I wouldn't say it's a bad thing, just not as intuitive as it should be. You should include a cart on your page that allows the customer to review/modify there order, then have a checkout button that directs to paypal with all of those products. It's not that big of a deal and I'm sure it won't affect sales, but its just a suggestion down the road.
Also, the product page shouldn't be vertical, meaning you should try and layout products 5 X 5 or something like that. This would let the customer to see most of your products at once without having to scroll.

Try to stick to discussing ONLY design in this forum.
