Are reciprocal links pages even necessary anymore?
I've rebuilt my web presence replacing an old Frontpage site with a WordPress layout. Same URL / domain name but on a different server. The old site was launched with a reciprocal links page and that was 12 years ago. Over the last 12 years, common knowledge and common sense has indicated that listing your site in DMOZ (and all the other goofball directories) is no longer a necessity like it once was....and since that big search engine has since done so many algo updates and penalized my old site, I've decided to go "organic" as "organic" is all the rage. Am I to be concerned (yay or nay) if I don't include a "links page" on my new WordPress site? Thanks!
