Need image editing software

Hi Guys,

Not sure if there is any such software but I would like to change the size of multiple images at one,

Say I have 100 images all different sizes and I want them 300 x 300 but don't want to do them all manually, if also possible add text and/or border to them,

Any suggestions will be most helpful,

        Batching lots of same size images is fairly easy. The only problem I see no matter what software you use is to get various sizes (length x width) of images to one size requires 1st cropping all to a uniform size and then reducing the image size to your final 300x300.

        For 100 images which is a small quantity, I would just do it manually. It would be a lot more precise because you control what part of the image is cropped. I use Photoshop so I could make some of it automatic and part manual. I probably would just do it manually because once you learn how to do the process, that amount would take 20-30 minutes at most and you will get exactly what you want.

        I'm pretty sure gimp for mac is out there. That is free and would work.

    Yes I agree with ehostingpk that irfanview is the best software . I personally use that and it save my a lot of time .
