My sales page looked fine in Firefox but I saw that all content was pushed to left when viewed in IE. Then when I saw there was another table (a table on top of a table) I tried to delete it but now I have my whole page repeated as you scroll to the bottom--it starts over again. So, I tried to put original HTML back (as I had copied it to Notepad) BUT still problem remains. I've tried everything with no luck and I'm betting it's simple end tags or something, but being somewhat of a newbie - don't know what to look for. Can anyone help to tell me what to look for as to what would cause a page to repeat -- and also -- how to get rid of the 'underlying table' without 'jacking everything up' again? Thanks! C |

Well, you need to post a link to the site so we can see the code and then give you a hand. Sorry, but without that, it is near impossible to offer any assistance... Have a Great Day! |

(Sorry, I'm not yet able to post links) - The site is at eatyourwheytothin.com I was able to get rid of the repeat in the page but still have the problem with everything pushed to left in IE. If anyone knows how I can correct this, I surely will appreciate it. Thank you! |

Have a read of this: It's the way IE renders tables. http://evolt.org/node/15341 Which version of IE are you using btw? |

Hi Cathryn Have you tried surrounding the table with a <center> tag? Technically it's actually better to use a style sheet instead, but as a quick fix a <center> tag in the line before your <table> tag and a closing </center> tag after the closing </table> tag should convince IE to center the content on the page. CB - Thank you for the info. - I'm running IE7 - but actually I personally never use it - hooked on Firefox. Bill - Can't thank you enough!! Yes, that certainly did fix the centering of the whole table problem in IE. I'll remember this for the future as well. Still don't know what to do about the content inside the table that's still being left aligned rather than centered as it is tagged, and does appear correctly in Firefox. I surely appreciate the help. Thank you again. C |
