Wordpress theme problem - need help!

Hi everyone,

I have been looking for help with my themes featured images. I have installed a new paid theme from themeforest called Avenue.

After I installed the new theme, my featured images all disappeared. The featured images are hosted on Amazon as I am using the Associate Goliath wordpress plugin. With the previous theme, when I clicked the featured image it would take you to amazon using my affiliate link.

Please could someone who knows what they're doing with code try and help me out?

I have tried all of the plugins which are supposed to set featured images etc, even from external links and none of them work.

Downloading the images and setting them as featured is not an option due to the very large number of posts

    It sounds like an issue with the code and if it is a paid theme then it should be sound, but errors do occur. I would contact Themeforest support. If they have a theme up for download and it is faulty I would suspect that they would want to know. Good luck on getting your issue resolved.

    Generally speaking, the featured image sizes aren't the same from theme to theme. If you can see that featured images are still attached to your posts, then probably all you need to do is regenerate your thumbnails using this plugin (WordPress › Regenerate Thumbnails « WordPress Plugins).

    Let us know if that works.
