Please, can anyone help me with this question. I have been trying to desgn a squeeze page using NVU. I labelled the home page index.html, and made sure I turned "all files" below it. But no matter how hard I try to convert to save my pages as a webpage,by the time I go back to check on my desktop, it will just appear as a notepad with all the features correctly labelled.e.g." .html"

Please, what do you think I should do. I want to know why my system refuse to convert to a webpage.

    If you're on windows 7:

    1) Open My Documents
    2) On the top left, ORGANIZE > FOLDER AND SEARCH OPTIONS
    3) On the window that opens, select the VIEW tab.
    4) Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"
    5) Select OK
    6) Look at the same file again, and you'll see every file has its extension shown, Rename your index.html.txt to index.html , when you see a window saying a warning, just press okay and you'll see it as a html page now.
    7) You can then revert it back to your normal setting if you want to.

Open your browser and then go to File > Open File and browse to the file that you just created - that will show you what it looks like in a browser.

Make sure when you upload to your webhost that the file is labelled as .html not .html.txt as the geradojv says above.
