Assign Page Parent in WP 2.7.1

I have a number of blogs in WP version 2.5.1 and I'm just setting up one in version 2.7.1

I've immediately come across one glaring problem - when writing pages (not posts) there is no longer an option to "Assign A Page Parent". I've been going round and round in circles all afternoon and cannot find a solution.

In the old version it was so simple - has the option now been taken away???

Thanks

    Hi Annie

It's still there - on the right side of the Pages editor under 'Attributes" you can specify the Parent Page.

But it doesn't work in the same way. I set up a page parent (title to appear in the top bar). Then I assign other pages child status under the parent page, but when the name is clicked in the title bar, no expected list of child pages appears.

It's just not working in the same way.

I just wanted to close this issue.

It was an issue with the css file of my blog's theme. A Warrior was able to update it with addition programming and now my parent/child menus work fine.
