Creating a website for a Sales letter

Hi Everyone

Working on a new product and want to know the easiest and best way to build a sales letter site?

I had one done 6 years ago by a friend which I found next to impossible to change or update - since then I have focused on e-commerce sites and wordpress blogs

I plan to set these up for affiliate sales using clickbank so can I use wordpress or does each one have to be stand alone?

How do add the click bank URL if I use wordpress?

How do I add in a OTO using any method?

How do I keep my thank you / download page from being crawled?

Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated

    If you're going to use clickbank, there won't be any problems with wordpress, you can use it.
    Once you sign up for clickbank, here's the pattern for creating sale links:

    http://PRODUCT_ID_FROM_DASHBOARD.YOU....clickbank.net

    For my e-commerce webiste, I use Easy Digital Downloads - free wp plugin and clickbank extension (paid). Once user clicks on payment link, makes purchase, it'll be redirected from cb to your downloads / thank you page - which will allow downloads only if purchase is made. So no worries about your downloads being crawled, and being accessible from the web. I hope this helps.

    Goes like this:
    1. Buyer clicks purchase from your site, or from somewhere else. Both cases has to come to clickbank.

    2. After paying, it's being redirected to your site, yours purchase-confirmation page. Buyer can access your products now, which you created through plugin. Makes sense?
