I found this helpful list through a landing page guide someone linked recently. It lists free photo sites with beautiful photos at good resolution: https://medium.com/design-ux/62ae4bcbe01b

I buy all photos that I use on my websites from High Quality Royalty-Free Stock Photography From $1 - Stock Photo | PhotoDune, It's relatively cheap, I usually pay $1-$2 per image and you will have to pay a $2 purchase fee. The images are of high quality and are great to use, the licenses are also really good.

Just my two cents on things! I've used other royalty free photo websites, but photodune hits the nail on the head for me!

I personally wouldn't take pictures from Google Images, best to be legitimate and not breach any copyright laws!

Yes, you have! Otherwise you are stealing other people's intellectual property...

You can download and use images for free from Free Digital Photos.net and give credits to the owner upon using the image/s.

I used to take vector images with Photoshop or illustrator to resize it as per my requirements. You can try this websites, 4-designer dot com and freepick dot com. It might be useful to you.

Hope you know you can NOT use images you find on google images. Those are not free for every one to use.

One place I use from time to time is: The Leading Source Of Free Stock Photos - stock.xchng though you have to check the license for each image, not all can be used how you want. Some have restrictions.

I have found buying images to be best, they don't cost that much and you have a much bigger selection compared to free sites. I've been using Fotolia for some time, great site.
