wordpress problem

I just installed wordpress on a site and it installed fine, so it seemed,but while navigating in the dashboard, Im finding all sorts of images missing.
I went thru and tried to re=upload all the image files but I'm still not getting them to show. Any suggestions?

    Thank you, I was able to find the files and re-upload them and they work fine now,thank you. Do you know a lot about Worpress? I reied to do the html validation and Im getting an error, but it'd no biggy, Everything seems to be ok so far, but admittedly I'm a newb wth WP.
